Ascension of the Serpent Queen

A Shadowdark adventure for 1st-Level characters, who have been mustered by the Kingdom to rescue the kidnapped Prince. Enroute to an important diplomatic meeting, transporting a valuable artifact his caravan was attack by a mysterious cult of snake worshippers led by the so-called Serpent Queen.

The party must infiltrate an impenetrable temple to a forgotten god, brave traps, hazards, monsters and crazed cultists to rescue the prince and find out what the cult is planning. But they must be quick, the Serpent Queen has begun a terrible ritual that will grant her untold power if she isn't stopped in time!

This adventure was created for Baron de Ropps WEIRD TALES SHADOWDARK GAME JAM in celebration of Shadowdark winning 4 Ennies at GenCon 2024.

This is my first foray with Shadowdark but I tried to include things that people would need, including tokens and portrait art for those playing over a virtual tabletop.
